Grading Policy

Late Work has a 10 point penalty, 5 points after each additional day late.

Notebooks are graded each week and averaged into daily grades.

Report card and progress report grades are determined by averaging daily grades, assessments, and notebook grade.

Attendance Policy

Tardies

Excused

• A written excuse note from a teacher.
• A written note from the office.

Unexcused

• No note from teacher.
• Obtain note before coming to class.

Absences

Excused

• A written or verbal note from parent or guardian turned in to office.
• Inclusion in the official absentee sheet as excused.
• Signed out in office by parent or guardian.
• Official school event.

Unexcused

• No note from home.
• None of the above requirements meet.
